During my time as a patient of Mr.P.Jambulingam i.e.during Nissans Fundiplication procedure, then Ivor Lewis Procedure, I found him to be helpful and informative, and indeed sympathetic to the situation one is in. In fact I can only thank him and his college Mr Rashid, and all their immediate staff, these people are a credit to them. Myself and my family, particularly my wife, can only thank them all, Mr Jambulingam did as he said he contacted my wife immediately after my surgery which was very reassuring to her. Thank you.
I had a left inguinal hernia operation which had to be treated by open surgery not keyhole. Mr Jambulingam was able to get me treated at a private hospital but as a National Health patient. He explained in detail why keyhole surgery wasn't really a viable option for me plus what the effects of open surgery were and the recovery times etc.
I had the operation 6 weeks ago and am now fully recovered. Other than the obvious discomfort you would initially expect after the operation, which included inserting a mesh 11cm x 8cm to prevent the hernia from reoccurring, everything has gone very smoothly without any complications at all.
He was very good at explaining the procedure both before the operation and afterwards.
I recommend this doctor , though it seem I had to wait too long for the op I had losted a lot a weight and felt very ill and I know he was concern because of my other health problems ,so on the day of my op at3pm when I went in to be op I honestly thought I would not come through .. But here I am two years later slowly put weight back on a lot of the horror symptoms have gone (stress brings them back) and my scars cannot be notice if I was a younger person would have no worry about my body being seen
After an emergency admission Mr Jambulingam operated to remove a section of strangulated bowel. After a post-op extended period in ITU I made a full recovery and have been fully discharged.
